February's Club Project

This month we are making two Easter cards in club.  With all the beautiful spring colors in Kaleidoscope, it lends itself to the Easter Holiday and the traditional colors of Easter.  Kaleidoscope has six complementary colors pixie, canary, gypsy, pacifica, pear and sunset.  We are also going to mix the old with the new where the Stamp sets are concerned.  We are using the Stamp of the Month, Balloon Animals (S1602) and the March Word Puzzle (D1270 - Retired!) sets to create our cards.

The Shaker card below was created with the Artistry Cricut Cartridge, new in the current Annual Inspirations book.  I had some assistance with the size of the cutout from my Cricut Craftroom software.  The frame already has the egg as part of the image.  I added the bunny to the original image in craftroom to make a new image.  The bunny is layered, so don't forget to size up the layers to match. The sequins in the shaker were purchased at Michael's, the package had eggs, bunny's and flowers, then I added a brighter pink to blend.

Club members, you'll need to bring the following to club:

Scissors
Adhesive (X Sticker maker, and if you have the 5" sticker maker)
Puff up tape (necessary to make the shaker box)

Looking forward to seeing everyone Thursday Night!
