Urban!

Assault that is!!! Every night before bed my boys would have at it.  The Urban Workshop on the Go has the perfect stamp set for a "Boy will be Boys" theme.  This month we will make a two page layout using the Urban WOTG.  The hostess, Leslie Barkman, has two boys she can display on this fun layout.  It showcases the new Cricut Cartridge from Close to my Heart as well.  All the special items on the page are from the Artistry Cartridge.

Bring your adhesive, puff up tape, sticker maker, scissors and let's create!

Sympathy Card

My husband's Godfather passed away last week.  And so I created this card with the September stamp of the month, Paper Garden.  I wasn't going to buy this set, wasn't sure what I'd use it for, but find now that it was a good thing I did.  It makes a lovely sympathy card.  I pulled old (retired) colors off the shelf.  I used Indian Corn Blue and Pansy Purple, and a current color whisper. 

This is where I got my inspiration for the colors.  I was these birds together at Michael's and thought how pretty a card would be with this combo.

The card design was scrap lifted from Terri Anderson who lifted it from Simone Morton. Thanks Ladies!!!

Wicked!

Nevermore!!  Our current Halloween paper.  I just love it!!  I found this inch and a half think corrugated cardboard "Wicked" at Michael's, and just had to get it. 

So I could turn it into one of this years decorations.

Nevermore!!

           September 2nd starts this years club. And with it being the month before Halloween, we just have to use Nevermore (X) and Little Monsters (C1630).  We are also going to use our new purple, Eggplant!  I had to make two different layouts because I ran out of Green Shimmer Trim.  So, I set up half the batch in the green and the other in the purple shimmer trim.
