January Club Project

This month we are making Valentine's Day cards.  Card #1 is made using paper from the Sonoma Paper pack.  I am pleased to say it is with us throughout the next catalog too!

Color Combination for the Sonoma card is Olive, Smokey Plum, Desert Sand and Chocolate.  We will use the stamp sets "Mad About You" (SOTM for December) and "Card Chatter - Love" (D1464). This card is a Mojo Monday pattern, it is Mojo Monday #222. Mojo Monday's are challenging because they give you a pattern but no measurements.  I like Mojo Monday for changing thinks up!

Card #2 is called a "Joy Fold" card.  No pattern paper in this card, I wanted to make it simple since the other card is a little more complicated.

Card #2 has the color combination of black, whte and cranberry. We are using stamp sets "Mad About You" (SOTM for December), "Priceless Love Word Puzzle" (D1348) and "From the Heart" (C1443).

Club A meets on Friday January 27 at 6:30pm at my place.
Club B meets on Wednesday January 18th at 6:30pm at my place.

Girl Scout Project

One of our local girl scout troops asked me to help them earn a badge by teaching them how to make cards so they can show another group of scouts.  I'm honored and excited!!!  They decided to make a Thank you and Thinking of You card.  Here are the cards that I designed for them to make and teach. 

When the girls are done, they are going to send them to the troops.

Thirty-One Party!

I am planning to have a "Thirty-One" party on Wednesday January 11th at 6:30pm.  I bought this mini organizer tote at a craft show.  So many of my club ladies have been looking for something like this.
